It is OUR MISSION to raise awareness of the issues and impacts affecting those South Australians who are experiencing homelessness or at risk of experiencing homelessness.
HomelessnessSA undertake networking, sector and community education on homelessness in South Australia, through our membership and community engagement. We support other peaks and organisations around advocacy and collaborative pieces to provide a collective voice.

WHO ARE WE
Homelessness SA is a voluntary board made up of people who either work in the Homelessness Sector or who have an interest in housing within the context of social justice.
A peak body plays a crucial role in the social services sector by providing leadership, advocacy, and coordination among various service providers. They aim to influence policy, improve service delivery, and ensure that the voices of stakeholders are heard. Currently, there is no funded peak body for homelessness in South Australia. However, Homelessness SA strives to raise awareness about the impacts of homelessness on individuals and works to unite the community in supporting those in need.
There has been a concerted effort by Homelessness SA over recent years to raise its profile and offer more to the sector broadly.
